As the sole proprietor of RachelzPetz, I treat your pets as if they are my own. I am the owner of Elliott, the Beagle/Yorkie pup and two adorable (and previously feral) cats, Kea and Squirt. I know how expensive it can be to keep them safely and well nurtured when I am away. So, I guarantee quality service at reasonable costs. I keep dog walks intimate by walking only a few dogs at a time, I will always spend at least 30 minutes with your dog and leave a daily pet update (via text preferred to minimize use of paper).I am insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC (coverage includes both general liability and property damage). I have also had training in Pet First Aid and CPR through PetTech.
In addition to having my own animals, I have also cared for animals at the National Zoo. I have been a Keeper Aide at the Kids' Farm; feeding, grooming, and giving love to goats, cows, donkeys, and alpacas. And I just recently served as a Behavior Watcher at Great Cats (I am very passionate about our lion pride). My next endeavor is serving as a behavior Watcher for Red Pandas.
